Cancellation policy
An enquiry to Thadanis Gallery is not binding, and you can withdraw it at any time. A reserved work can be released before payment at no charge. Cancellation after payment, and cancellation of commissioned works, is agreed individually and in writing.
How to cancel
To cancel a reservation, write to [email protected] with the title of the work and the words "cancel reservation" in the subject line. You can also call us on +91 9820302050. We will confirm the cancellation by email.
When can I cancel?
- Enquiries: an enquiry is not binding. You can withdraw it at any time, and there is nothing to pay.
- Reservations before payment: a reserved work can be released at no charge.
- After payment, and commissioned works: agreed individually and in writing, including whether a refund is due. Once a work has been delivered, please also see our Returns & refunds page.
Refunds
Where a refund is agreed, we will confirm the amount and how it will be paid (normally bank transfer or UPI) in writing; timing depends on your bank. If you are expecting a refund and have not received it, please get in touch.
Cancellations by the gallery
In rare cases we may need to cancel a reservation from our side, for example if the work is no longer available (sold to another buyer or withdrawn by the artist) or if a pricing or fraud issue is detected. We will contact you as soon as we can, and any payment you have already made will be refunded in full. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from such a cancellation.
