Shipping policy
Every work at Thadanis Gallery is a one-of-a-kind original, so there is no standard shipping rate. Once your reservation has been confirmed in writing and payment has been received, a work is either collected from the gallery at 1st floor, Thadani House, 329/A Worli Village, Mumbai 400030, India, or delivered to you. Delivery is arranged individually and agreed in writing.
Reservation, payment and delivery
You begin with an enquiry about a work from its page on this site. The gallery replies and, if the work is available, confirms your reservation in writing. Payment is then arranged directly with the gallery (see Payment methods); nothing is paid or charged online. Delivery or collection is arranged once payment has been received.
Delivery within India
Delivery within Mumbai and the rest of India is arranged individually for each work. Packing, courier and insurance are quoted per work, in writing, before dispatch.
Outside India
If you are outside India, ask us whether and how a work can be delivered. We will confirm any arrangement, the packing and courier cost, and any import duties, taxes or customs charges that may apply at the destination, in writing before dispatch.
Dispatch
A work is dispatched only after the reservation has been confirmed and payment has been received. We will confirm the dispatch arrangements for your work in writing.
Arrival and damage in transit
Please inspect the work as soon as it arrives. If it is damaged, photograph the packaging and the work before unpacking further, keep all the packaging, and write to us promptly at [email protected] with the photographs. If a shipment is delayed or you think it may be lost, please tell us so that we can look into it with the courier.
Because each work is a one-of-a-kind original, it cannot be replaced like for like. Any remedy is arranged individually and agreed in writing; see also Returns & refunds.
