Terms of service
These terms govern your use of thadanis.com and any enquiry or acquisition made through it. Thadanis Gallery is operated by THADANI LLP ("Thadanis", "we", "us", "our"). By using our website or sending an enquiry, you agree to these terms.
1. Artworks & exhibitions
Thadanis Gallery exhibits original work by independent artists. Each work is a one-of-a-kind original. We make every effort to display colour, scale and medium accurately, but minor variation between a photograph and the original is inherent to painted and handcrafted work. A work is available until it is reserved or sold.
2. Pricing & taxes
Prices are available on request and are quoted in Indian Rupees (₹). We state the applicable tax treatment, including whether GST applies, when we confirm the price. International enquiries may be liable for import duties and taxes at destination.
To request a price or availability, use the enquiry form on an artwork page or contact us directly.
3. Reservation & sale
An enquiry is a request for information and does not commit either of us to a sale. A work is reserved for you only once we confirm the reservation in writing. The sale is completed only once payment is received in full, as arranged under Payment methods. We reserve the right to decline or cancel a reservation, including where a work is no longer available or where fraud is suspected; any payment already made is refunded in full.
4. Payment
This website has no online checkout and does not take online payments. Payment is arranged directly with us after a reservation is confirmed, by bank transfer, UPI or in person at the gallery. We will never ask you for your card number, CVV, UPI PIN, OTP or online banking password, and you should not send them to us. See Payment methods for details.
5. Shipping
Delivery or collection of a work is arranged individually and agreed in writing. See our Shipping policy for more information.
6. Returns, refunds & cancellation
See our Returns & refunds policy and our Cancellation policy for how returns, refunds and cancellations are handled for original artworks. Any particular arrangement for a work is agreed individually and in writing.
7. Intellectual property
Artworks, and the images and descriptions of them shown on this website, are the copyright of the respective artists and are shown with their permission. Buying an original work does not transfer copyright or reproduction rights unless agreed in writing. Other content and the design of this website belong to Thadanis (THADANI LLP). Nothing on this website may be copied or reproduced without written permission.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Thadanis' liability arising from any sale is limited to the price paid for the work in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra.
