Thadanis Gallery is operated by THADANI LLP. THADANI LLP is responsible for the personal information described in this policy, including how we collect, use and protect it.
Thadanis Gallery works by enquiry. This site has no online checkout or shopping bag and does not take payments, so the information we hold comes from the forms you choose to send us and from the correspondence that follows.
What we collect
- Artwork enquiries: when you use the enquiry form on an artwork page, we receive your name, email address, your phone number if you choose to give one, your message and the work you are asking about.
- Contact form: when you use the form on our contact page, we receive your name, email address, the subject if you give one, and your message.
- Correspondence: messages you send us by email or phone, and anything you tell us while we arrange a reservation, payment, collection or delivery, such as a delivery address.
- Payment records: we do not take card payments on this site. Where a payment is arranged directly with you (bank transfer, UPI or in person), we keep the payment reference and a record of the sale for our accounts.
- Technical details: depending on how a form submission is processed, we may also record when it was sent, the page it came from and your browser type (user agent). Your IP address is handled by our hosting provider when you visit the site; see “Who we share with” below.
Sending an enquiry is voluntary. We use what you send only for the purposes described in this policy.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and answer your questions about a work.
- To manage a reservation and confirm it with you in writing.
- To arrange payment, and collection or delivery, for a work you have reserved.
- To send reservation and payment confirmations and delivery updates for that work.
- To keep our sales and payment records and meet our legal and tax obligations.
We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not send marketing email unless you have explicitly opted in.
Who we share with
- Wix — the contact management (CRM) system where the details from both forms are stored, along with our notes on your enquiry or reservation.
- Cloudflare — our hosting provider. It delivers this website and receives your form submission before it is passed to Wix. Cloudflare may keep standard server and security logs of requests to the site, which can include your IP address.
- Google Fonts — the typeface used on this site is loaded from Google’s servers, so Google receives your IP address and browser details when a page loads.
- The artist — we may pass your enquiry to the artist of the work you asked about where this is needed to answer it, for example to confirm availability.
- Couriers and packers — only if we arrange delivery of a work, and only the details needed to deliver it, such as your name, delivery address and phone number.
- Tax and legal authorities where required by law.
Some of these providers may process information on servers outside India.
Cookies and analytics
Our own pages do not set cookies, and we do not add advertising, analytics or behavioural tracking tools to the site. They do not store information about you in your browser. The only outside resource the pages load is the font files from Google Fonts, described above.
Data retention
We keep your enquiry and our correspondence for as long as we need them to reply, to manage any reservation and to deal with later questions about a work. We keep payment and sales records for as long as tax, accounting and legal requirements apply. You may request deletion at any time; some records may need to be retained to meet legal obligations.
Your rights
You may write to [email protected] to access, correct or request deletion of your personal data. We will respond within 30 days.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to safeguard the personal data we hold.
Please never send card numbers, CVV codes, UPI PINs, OTPs or passwords in an enquiry, a message or an email. We will never ask you for them, and this site does not take card payments. If anyone claiming to be from Thadanis Gallery asks you for them, do not share them and please tell us at [email protected].
